Message from Research Director

Tanaka Akihiro
“We investigate the mechanism of human mind which enables communication. Cognitive psychology is very unique since its goal is to uncover the mystery of human mind as a field of humanities and its methodology is based on natural science.”
Morise Masanori
“Speech is a means of communication that humans have used since ancient times. People transmit various kinds of information on their voices, in addition to information expressed in the text. We are studying the mechanisms of information transmission and reception by speech. ”
