At Miraikan, visitor parties of more than 8 persons can get discounts for their admission fees regardless of whether it is a school organization or a general group.
In case of visiting in groups, please make reservations in advance.
Flow from reservation to the day of the visit

2. Booking confirmation
As a reservation is arranged, the person in charge of the group will receive a notice certifying the completion of the reservation from the reservation desk by phone or E-mail.
3. The Day of the Visit
If you are representatives, please pay the admission fee or bus parking fee (in case of using the parking lot) at the information desk. Immediately, after the fee is paid, we will disperse the admission tickets.
Admission fees for the Permanent Exhibitions
Visitor parties of more than 8 persons can get discounts for their admission fees. Group admission to the permanent exhibition is 500yen for adults and 160yen for 18 and under.

Dome Theater
Dome Theater can be reserved for groups on weekdays.
(Excluding spring break, summer vacation, and winter vacation.)
Admission fee is 310 yen for adults and 100 yen for 18 and under.
If you would like to watch the Dome Theater, please indicate in the remarks column of the Group Reservation Form that you wish to view the Dome Theater. We will send a “Dome Theater Group Reservation Application Form” by e-mail to those who have requested it.
Bus Parking
There is a parking lot for full-sized buses (for 20 buses) in the museum.
- Advance reservations are not possible for the bus parking lot, and up to the first 20 cars on the day, 3,150 yen per car.
- Advance reservations are available for special support schools and facilities for the disabled. Please enter the desired number of parking spaces on the Group Reservation Form.
Lunch Place
During weekdays only, we have a lunch place (50-80 seats) for private groups. If you wish to reserve a lunch place, please select whether you wish to do so on the Group Reservation Form. (Reservations can be made one year before the desired date, and is on a first-come, first-served basis.)
- Limited to 30 minutes, including exit and re-entry times.
- Limited to 1 hour for special needs schools, nursery schools, and/or kindergartens.
- May not be reserved during weekends, holidays, events, or when open to the general public.
- If you arrive after your reservation time, your reservation may be cancelled.
- Please bring your lunch, or have your lunch delivered directly to the lunch place through individual orders made through box lunch caterers.
- All garbage must be taken with you.
Exhibition Worksheet
A worksheet is available for school children to explore questions and interests through the exhibitions.
- If you intend using the following worksheet, please check the “Hope” box under “Worksheets for school groups” when filling out the “Apply for group reservation” form online.
- Please print the necessary number of worksheets at your school and bring them with you.
Precautions
Before your visit, please keep in mind the important items mentioned below. In addition to this, when escorting, please make sure your members understand and follow these items. Should a non-compliant visitor trouble other guests, we may ask that person to leave the museum.
- Do not run or yell inside the museum.
- Since it is dangerous, do not run or play on the escalators or stairs.
- Please eat or drink at the designated areas.
