Testing a guide service that utilizes an automated translation system

This is a demonstration program for a multilingual translation system currently in development. You are invited to participate in a tour utilizing the system to introduce Miraikan exhibitions.
Using TOPPAN Inc.’s RemoteVoice® system, for which the company is conducting research and development aimed at social integration of translation services enabling multilingual, multi-person communication, Japanese guides will be translated into English, Chinese（Mandarin/Simplified Chinese）, and Korean, and these translations will be made available via voice and smartphone text.
After the tour, we will ask you to fill out a survey, and the opinions expressed will be used in future research and development.

How to participate
Reception opens at 2: 30 PM in front of the Permanent Exhibitions entrance on 5F (limited to approx. 10 people on a first-come, first-served basis)
*The tour will take place in the Permanent Exhibitions on 5F
*It is not possible to join the tour while it is in progress

・In order to participate, a consent form must be signed at the venue on the day of the tour. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
・This event is a field test for the development of an automated translation system. In addition to asking you to fill out a survey after your tour, the tour may be documented and photographed for use in Miraikan and TOPPAN Inc. activities.

享受多语言展示之旅

～利用自动翻译系统导览服务的实证实验～

这是一个使用正在开发的多语言自动翻译系统参与未来馆展示介绍之旅的验证项目。
为了面向社会提供多语言和多人之间沟通的翻译服务，我们将使用TOPPAN株式会社研究开发的“RemoteVoice®”，将日语导览内容通过语音和智能手机文本翻译成英语、中文（普通话/简体字）或韩语。
体验后请配合填写问卷调查，我们将利用您的反馈意见来帮助未来的研究开发。

・本活动是自动翻译系统开发的验证实验。体验后，除了需要配合填写问卷外，可能还会记录和拍摄体验过程，并用于日本科学未来馆及TOPPAN株式会社的相关活动。

다언어로 즐기는 전시 투어

~자동 번역 시스템을 활용한 가이드 서비스의 실증~

개발 중인 다언어 자동 번역 시스템을 사용하여 미래관의 전시 소개 투어에 참가하는 실증 프로그램입니다.
다언어 및 여러 명의 커뮤니케이션을 실현하는 번역 서비스의 사회 구현을 위해 TOPPAN 주식회사가 연구 개발하고 있는 ‘RemoteVoice®’를 사용하여 일본어 가이드를 영어·중국어·한국어로 번역한 후 음성 및 스마트폰의 텍스트 형식으로 지원합니다.
체험 후 설문조사에 협조해 주시면 의견을 향후 연구 개발에 참고하겠습니다.
