About the End of Demonstrations by Humanoid Robot ASIMO [End of March 2022]
Demonstrations by the humanoid robot ASIMO have ended as of March 31st, 2022.
Since being hired as an interpreter (exhibition commentator, currently science communicator) for Miraikan in January 2002, ASIMO had performed a total of 15,466 demonstrations (as of the end of last year) over 20 years, befriending over (estimate) 2 million visitors. At the same time, it performed demonstration experiments of its new functions and limited-time events, and continued to share a message of encouragement for people to consider a society in which we live alongside robots.

ASIMO自从2002年1月被选为未来馆的解说员（展示解说员，现在是科学传播员）以来，在过去的20年里进行了累计1万5466次演示（截至去年年底），被超过200万人（估算）所熟知。同时，它还进行了新功能的实证实验和限定活动等，向人们发出了思考关于与机器人共生社会的信息直至今日。

휴머노이드 로봇 ‘ASIMO(아시모)’의 실연을 2022년 3월 31일 자로 종료합니다.
ASIMO는 2002년 1월에 미래관의 인터프리터(전시해설원, 현재는 과학 커뮤니케이터)로 채용된 후 20년 동안 누적 1만 5,466회(작년 말 시점)의 실연을 통해 200만 명 이상(추계)에게 사랑받아 왔습니다. 동시에 새로운 기능의 실증 실험과 한정 이벤트 등을 열어 로봇과 함께하는 사회에 대하여 생각하자는 메시지를 전해 왔습니다.
