Miraikan App
This enables you to immediately access useful information when visiting, such as event information for that day, explanations of permanent exhibitions, ticket distribution status, and exhibition floor congestion status. Links to Miraikan's online content are also available within the app, allowing you to enjoy Miraikan's content anytime, anywhere.
An application to support the exhibition experience for visitors with disabilities
Miraikan Assist App
This is an original application that primarily supports the exhibition experience for visitors with visual impairments. By reading approximately 50 AR markers installed within the permanent exhibition zones, it provides explanations of each exhibition and how to experience it through audio and text. It is also compatible with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android). It can even read QR codes within the exhibitions, providing more detailed explanations and supplementary information.
In certain exhibitions, you can also view exhibition explanation videos in sign language.
