Together, shaping the future of autonomous driving
We lead the development of Autoware, open-source software for autonomous driving, in collaboration with contributors from around the world. We work with companies, communities and municipalities to develop and deliver safe, accessible autonomous vehicles. At Miraikan, we conduct autonomous driving research and development. We also create opportunities for visitors to learn about, and experience our technology.
We imagine a future where people of all ages can enjoy the benefits of autonomous vehicles, in both urban and rural areas. To achieve that goal, we are developing autonomous driving systems based on open-source software that can be adapted for different locations and needs. We work with a diverse group of partners, and support the deployment of autonomous vehicles in daily life, and explore new ways the technology can benefit society.
