Gathering data on public opinion
The Opinion Bank, located in the Permanent Exhibition area of Miraikan, gathers opinions from the general public on various questions that are related to science, technology and society. This system is comprised of a highly updatable questionnaire system that constantly changes themes while setting questions for users. These themes include social and ethical issues and advanced scientific research, and various risks. Questions are also set in collaboration with research institutes and academic associations, and the results obtained through the Opinion Bank are provided to researcher communities.
