大脑研究与人工智能(AI)研究的融合,会开拓出怎样的前景?在第2期创想者工坊活动中,未来馆与东京大学国际高等研究所神经智能国际研究机构(IRCN)、乃村工艺社共同策划和制作了相关展览,通过最尖端的科研成果获得了关于“智慧”的新见解,与参观者共同探索了大脑的巨大潜能。
科学家们尝试通过探究“智能”的本源,掌握大脑的奥秘,并从中开创全新的AI技术。这门新的研究领域,被称为“Neurointelligence(知・脑・智)”。通过这个展览,参观者可以体验到大脑研究的最新方法,与AI协同作业,从亲眼所见和亲手触摸中感受最前沿的科学成果。神经智能研究将给人类和AI带来多大的可能性,进而开创怎样的前景呢?这是本展览与参观者一道去思索的问题。

展览架构
I 感受“知・脑・智”

展览设计了各种体验项目,如人脑独具的“预测”性导致的视错觉,将白色的盒子“看成”各种物体的影像体验,AI钢琴在解析演奏者的演奏习惯后弹出配合原曲的新乐曲等,使参观者感受到自己的“大脑”原来具有平时不易察觉的神奇力量。
II 理解“知・脑・智”
模拟大脑研究者和AI研究者对谈的形式,从7个方面比较了人脑和AI的异同。[1.预测、2. 奖励性学习、3.自发性活动、4.发展、5.社会性学习、6.创造性、7.多样性与疾病]
III 探索“知・脑・智”
以4种方式介绍了大脑研究和AI研究相结合的实际范例。设有最尖端研究的体验项目及实物展览等。
- “浏览”区
以各种尺度和珍贵的影像资料,介绍了大脑的活动。 - “制作”区
介绍了探索未知领域的研究方法本身。还可体验使大脑透明化而不需切片观察的显微镜及最新的实验装置。 - “创造”区
介绍了模仿大脑创造全新AI的研究。还能体验人与AI的协作,比如与AI机器人一同作画。 - “尝试”区
分期开展了与大脑研究有关的各种参与性实验活动,如“语言习得”和“联觉”等。
IV 创造“知・脑・智”

从AI与服装设计师合作创意的裙装实物,以及应用AI新技术制作的“AI伴同预测游戏”的体验等活动,去感受人类与AI关系的未来。
最后还设置了互动体验区,供参观者在了解了研究人员的创想后,在其基础上拓展思路,传播自己的想法。
