Revised infection control measures inside the museum (effective Monday, May 8, 2023)

In accordance with the reclassification of the novel coronavirus to Class 5 under the Infectious Diseases Control Law, Miraikan will change its infection control measures effective Monday, May 8, 2023. The key changes are stated below.

• Wearing of masks by staff will now be voluntary.
• Permanent Exhibition ticket sales will change from specified time periods to specified dates only (including online sales).
• Clear plastic barriers will be removed from food & drink spaces (those wishing to use them may borrow them).
• The infection control guidelines for facility rentals will be discontinued, and it will no longer be necessary to submit a countermeasures plan or any other such documents.

Temperature-check devices and disinfectant solution will continue to be available at the entrance. You may choose to use these at your own discretion.
