As part of a series connecting the achievements of the Osaka-Kansai Expo to the future, we will re-present the impressive, large-scale video originally shown at the private pavilion, “BLUE OCEAN DOME” in our Dome Theater. This is a full-CG work depicting both the ocean ravaged by advancing plastic pollution, and an Earth where life is richly interconnected. Shifting between scales from the cellular level to the vastness of space, various scenes unfold in succession—realistic depictions of the ocean depths and imagined worlds. Through the perspective of the ocean, this work serves as an opportunity to reflect on the connection between our daily lives and the Earth.
Originally shown on a high-definition, hemispherical LED screen approximately 10 meters in diameter at the Expo venue, this work has been specially localized for the Miraikan Dome Theater, which spans approximately 15 meters in diameter. Enjoy the immersive experience of the video in all its original intensity.

About BLUE OCEAN DOME
BLUE OCEAN DOME was a private pavilion exhibited by the Non-Profit Organization ZERI JAPAN at the Expo, focused on the sustainable use of ocean resources and protection of marine ecosystems. Designed to engage visitors in learning about environmental protection while enjoying the experience, the pavilion attracted more than 1.12 million visitors during the Expo period.
