The 25th Japan Media Arts Festival received 3,537 entries from 95 countries and regions in its four divisions: Art, Entertainment, Animation and Manga. In each division, Grand Prizes, Excellence Awards, New Face Awards, Social Impact Award and U-18 Award were selected. Other than the four divisions, Festival Platform Award received 125 entries from 40 countries and regions, and selected Award-winning Works. In addition, Special Achievement Awards selected people who contributed in the Field of Media Arts.
The Exhibition of Award-winning Works will present selected works featuring a wide range of styles, genres and forms of expression, as well as materials documenting the lifetime accomplishments of Special Achievement Award winners.
