Can a robot smoothly pass through a crowd of people? Come and meet a robot that skillfully navigates among people as it moves through the exhibits in Miraikan and think about the future where people and robots live together. This event has been held once a month since September, 2016, and more than 10,000 visitors have participated in the experiment. By storing vast amount of information coming from its environment, the robot builds on its experience and continually improves its performance. By just walking around the robot, you can participate in this cutting-edge research. On the event days, visitors will have an opportunity to directly talk to the researchers developing the robot, and to offer their answers to the researchers' question: "What new things would you be able to achieve by using this robot?". Come and share your thoughts with researchers. Your ideas may come true. * Infrared sensors are used by the robot and in the areas where the robot operates. No information that enables people identification (such as images and videos) will be collected. The experiment has no effect on human health.
