The Science Workshop is a space where participants can experience cutting-edge science and technology through experiments and dialogue. In addition to having the opportunity to carry out experiments, participants can also learn to properly handle the various issues brought about by that science and technology, and consider how to interact with that technology. The experiments conducted here are original experiments formulated by scientists on the frontlines of their fields of research, together with the Miraikan staff. The Science Workshop is held mostly on the weekends, and is based on themes such as chemistry, biology, the environment, robots, and information science.
