Dr. Ursula Renold, Director of the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology, Ministry of Economics, the Swiss Confederation, has visited Miraikan for a tour.
Director Renold eagerly listened to the explanations about Miraikan and presented questions such as, "What are the most popular exhibits of Miraikan" and asked questions related to the overall management of the museum. She also carefully viewed the exhibits one by one as she listened to the explanations offered by the science communicators. She seemed especially interested in the seismic activities displayed by the High Sensitivity Seismograph Network Japan (Hi-net) and the exhibits related to the brain on the 5F and the exhibits describing micromachines and nanotechnology on the 3F. After watching a demonstration of ASIMO, to the question "What kind of functionality do you anticipate in ASIMO in the future" she answered, "I hope it will learn how to clean the house."
