Scenarios | NEW ZEALAND
Amelia Adriaens, Lydia Robinson, Kareena Singh, Amelie Spinks
Amelia, Kareena, Amelie and I (Lydia) are 14 year old students from New Zealand. We enjoy music and sport. Teenagers in New Zealand spend a lot of time outdoors and as a country we are known for pristine environment. We studied methane emissions for our topic as we believe that climate change is the largest global crisis ever. The core message that we want to convey is that together, everybody can make a big difference through small changes to their lifestyle. We know that after watching our video, you will take action and the ripple effect will commence. The key to saving our planet, is Darling's and Honey's Burp.
Movie | JAPAN
Global Warming is a serious global issue. Although there are a variety of causes, this video focuses on methane produced by cattle and sheep’s fermentation in the digestive tract. The definition of our Happiness is that although we experience happiness on a daily basis through livestock products, for example, meat and dairy milk, the amount of methane produced must be decreased as well.. We addressed this and turned it into a fun video to watch. Students from New Zealand taught us that a few small changes that each person can make can result in a big difference to our planet. Please enjoy the sweet, main characters, a cow and a sheep!
NEW ZEALANDScience Alive!
Science Alive! is a not-for-profit trust, dedicated to educating the public about science and technology within the Canterbury region of New Zealand. Based in Christchurch, Science Alive was established in 1991 with the mission of inspiring, exciting, challenging and informing people of all ages, by heightening awareness and understanding of science and technology. On 22nd February 2011 earthquakes destroyed our science center building. We presently run outreach programs reaching up to 50,000 people a year. We hope to have a new purpose built center soon, where we can create new memorable experiences for the people of Christchurch.
