"Thunderbirds" was a long-lasting special-effects TV series born in 1965 in the U.K. Even now when "Thunderbirds" is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the TV series is fascinating people beyond generations and national borders.

"Thunderbirds" portrays high technologies that embody people's dreams and hopes and pursue convenience and comfort. This special exhibition introduces the technologies depicted in "Thunderbirds" together with the most advanced science and technology of the present day.

You can enjoy the world's first 3D "Thunderbirds" video, a display model of the super-mechanism, and Japan's cutting-edge science and technology, and the fruit of the current R&D, presented side-by-side with those of the future described in the "Thunderbirds" series.

This special exhibition will enable visitors to deepen their understanding of Japan's most advanced science and technology via the dreamlike future described in "Thunderbirds" a little less than 50 years ago, and also, beyond generations, to depict sustainable future possibilities.
