Terminator Exhibition - Battle or Coexistence? Robots and Our Future -

The movie "Terminator" was released in 1984 with its unique portrayal of the adversarial coexistence of humans and robots. The realistic special effects and technologies made viewers believe such robots of the not so distant future are feasible. In this exhibition, we feature the artwork and costumes actually used during the filming of the "Terminator Series" movies. We will also introduce research on the communicative ability of robots from the viewpoint of science and technology.
With the appearance of a biped robot attracting people's attention, and with pet robots and cleaning robots becoming common today, it is possible to imagine a future where humans and robots coexist. The "Terminator Series," depicts many robots as deadly dangerous and other robots that coexist with people. This exhibition helps you to consider the future and ideal robot technology - the fusion of technologies--and what kind of relationship human beings will create with robots.
