"New Eyes" to Look into the Body
With the advancement of medical imaging devices, the technology to look deep inside the body in detail has dramatically improved. In addition to the improvement of resolution, which can be observed on a cellular level, it has become possible to identify the observation results by various methods and issue an almost immediate diagnosis. In addition to doctors, this might become a tool for patients to better understand their disease and consider treatment options.

Diagnosis at the Molecular Level
By evaluating the changes in the body due to being affected by disease on a molecular level, such as that targeting protein and DNA, it has become possible to understand illness from a new perspective. Also, research for the prevention of disease by identifying slight differences in individual genomes and understanding a patient's constitution before they become sick is also advancing.

Therapies Based on the Mechanisms of the Body
We will introduce changes in medical trends such as the change from symptomatic treatment to the pursuit of primal therapy which results from the progression of understanding diseases on a molecular level. Furthermore, by combining it with genome information, the actualization of customized medicine is anticipated. Also, research towards applying these discoveries to regenerative medicine is also in progress.

Therapies Using Patient-friendly Technologies
Various new technologies are being developed to offer safe, reliable treatments, and to lessen the burden on the patient. We will introduce a surgical operation support system which uses information technology such as image processing and virtual reality, and medical robot technology.

Future Item
We introduce through images and video future medical scenes that are still unrealized which might be possible one day through the fusion of knowledge and technology. One side is for information pertaining to the technological side while the other concerns information on the basic research side. You can feel the direction of medicine of the future.

Endoxa
It offers the opportunity for visitors and researchers to exchange and transmit opinions related to life ethics. You can also become a part of "Promoting Medicine Together" by exchanging opinions at this area.
