Introductory Movie
This short animation is about a morning in the life of a high school girl in the year 2050. She changes clothes with the push of a button, and commutes to school in a one-manned helicopter. This alternative future might excite you, or you might feel a wave of nostalgia. Get a ticket for a walk through this future city.

Step 1 - Let's stroll around Itookashi City!
This is Itookashi City, an imaginary city in 2050. You will go to City Hall to register to live in Itookashi City. Put your hand in front of the screen alongside the model, and you will be led through the future city. Through built-in cameras in the model city, the citizens will tell you how 35 cutting-edge technologies, such as the Plant Factory and the Superconducting Cable, benefit their lifestyles.

Step 2 - Let's become an Itookashi Citizen!
In order to become an Itookashi Citizen, you need to offer your idea to make this city better. Think about what you've heard from the citizens, and use the "Waza card" describing cutting-edge technologies, to propose your suggestion to enrich life. You will see how the choices you make affect the city by the changes in the 4 parameters of Environment, Material, Individual, and Society.

Step 3 - Let's learn more about Itookashi City!
Use the website to further explore what you saw at the exhibition. The website offers additional information such as a map of the city, profiles of the 61 characters, and a full list of the 35 technologies. Exhibition visitors who became citizens of the city will be offered special benefits such as a copy of their Resident Card, a list of "Waza cards", and a Growth Graph of the city.
