Terminal
The hands-on model of the Internet has five terminals. Visitors can create messages by laying out the white and black balls and send them to other terminals. Using balls that visitors can touch, this simplified model represents what is happening in the machines when messages are transmitted between computers and mobile phones.

Network
The terminals can send and receive messages because they are connected by a network. Messages created by balls roll on the rails, relayed by several towers, and finally reach the destination terminal. The packet and routing systems used for the Internet are also used for this network so the message can be sent to the correct destination. Observe the motion of the balls carefully.
