A person's 'wishes' cannot come true by just imagining them. What is necessary to actualize them is 'Creativity.' We will introduce how innovative technology is supported by the 'Creativity' of technologists.

Mural of Human Technology

From ancient times until today, humans have continued to advance through the repetition of the process of imagination and creation. We will think about what technological innovation means to humans by looking back at the path of related discoveries that are encountered in various ways such as things we use in our daily lives, methods of transportation and means of communication through a story presented by a picture scroll.

The Spring of Wishes/The River of Creativity

Creativity" of technologists and researchers actualizes people's "imagination." We have classified this creativity which creates technological innovation in 5 different areas and expressed it as 5 rivers which flow out from "The Spring of Wishes." We will introduce how technological innovation has been brought about by referring to examples of scientific breakthroughs from Edison to quantum computers.

The Spring of Wishes/The River of Creativity

Association

The "quantum computer," which is created by "associating" a calculator and the physical characteristics of the quantum, is studied. You will be able to feel the world of wonders of the quantum computer by "searching your face." You will be surprised how it differs from the existing computers.

Association

Integration

"Lab-on-a-Chip" collects the complex function of a laboratory on a single chip. Let's study the secrets of this small chip that is filled with many technologies and knowledge, by checking out how it actually moves and answering quizzes.

Integration

Serendipity

Sometimes unexpected results and failures lead to great discovery. We will introduce the importance of "inspiration" in science through "conductive plastic" that was created by finding out and pursuing the results of unexpected discoveries.

Serendipity

Mimic

There is the "artificial photosynthesis" as an example of research created from the idea of "mimic." You can extract hints from the function and forms of certain things. By learning the great mechanism of plants, we will focus on the trial of artificial photosynthesis that faces problems such as environment and energy.

Mimic

Alternative

Transition of ideas: If it is possible to have this wonderful ability on your side, do you not feel that it will be possible to solve any kind of difficult problem? We will introduce numbers of revolutionary products created through "shifting" to the new perspective "creating things through printing." It may be possible for you to feel the lifestyle of the future.

The Sea of Fertility

How we will use the technology and knowledge that were brought about through "creativity" to create a future society is left to our hands. In this section, we have collected "seeds of technology" from around the world. With your "creativity," please actualize your "wishes" as you use the "seeds of technology."
