A new update for the Geo-Cosmos content "The Searching Planet" has been released!
Miraikan - The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation has released an update for the "The Searching Planet" content of the Geo-Cosmos spherical display. The update includes, among others, the searching trends from last year.
"The Searching Planet" is a 9 minute content, co-created by Miraikan and Google, which explores the world through internet searches. See what the people on this planet are thinking, and what they are interested in, and watch their responses to events that happened around the world.
Searches are introduced under keywords such as food, sports, and pets. It is notable that "Pokémon GO" was the most-searched word last year, and that the word "Japan" was most searched, in internet history, around the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Screening schedule: three times a day at 11:15, 13:15, and 16:15
The content is also available online (including VR version) on the "The Searching Planet" special website. Experience the world through internet searches while looking at the planet Earth in its entirety.
