Visitors to the special exhibition "Umesao Tadao: an explorer of the future" Will Receive Discounts to the Next Special Exhibition "The End of the World"

Visitors to the special exhibition "Umesao Tadao," which ended its run in February 2012, will receive significantly discounted admission rates to the next special exhibition "The End of the World."

In the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake that struck on 11 March, Miraikan set up "Act After 3.11 at Miraikan" as an activity aimed at redefining the role of science, gathering "knowledge" from various fields, and thinking about action to be taken for the future with all its visitors.

The special exhibition "Umesao Tadao" considers the future of science from the perspective of an "intellectual giant," while "The End of the World" is an exhibition that encourages us to consider the future as individuals.

By capturing the world through the respective perspectives taken in these two exhibitions, we hope to provide a catalyst for everyone to take the next step.
