10:00 - 17:00 (Please make sure to enter at least 30 minutes before closing time.)

The Museum is closed every Tuesday, and during the period from December 28, 2011 to January 1, 2012.
*The Museum will be open on the following Tuesdays: December 27, 2011, and January 3, March 20, March 27, April 3, July 24, July 31, throughout August, 2012.
*The Museum may close temporarily for facility maintenance.

* Free admission for 18 years olds and under on Saturday
* Free admission for preschooler
* Special fees may apply for Special Exhibitions.
* Free admission for those in possession of a Disability Book and one accompanying person
* The Science Library (3F) can be used for free.

* There may be cases where the parking lot will become full beginning early during the final days of Special Exhibitions, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

Barrier Free

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation is a barrier free facility, which fulfills the standards of the Tokyo Metropolitan's "Heart Building Law."
* A Barrier Free facility is a specially-designed building without barriers that are thought to inflict problems on the elderly, disabled, children, pregnant women, etc. It makes it easy for all kinds of people to visit it by basing the accessibility standards on whether it is user-friendly to the elderly and the disabled or not.
