Symbol Exhibit Geo-Cosmos
The Geo-Cosmos floats in a six-story open zone, and is the symbol exhibit of Miraikan, It comes from Miraikan's Executive Director Mamoru Mohri's idea of "wanting to share with people the sight of our beautiful Earth as seen from space."
About 1 million LEDs (light-emitting diodes) cover the 6.5 meter surface of the sphere and enable it to illustrate a wide variety of moving images.
