Examine the technologies of telepresence, which enables you to see, hear, and feel with the sense that you are actually on the spot, even if you are in a place far removed from the actual scene. You can experience the free movement of information, by moving a remote controlled robot, etc., which became possible by using this technology.
- * Museum of Mystery
- This museum contains wonders not found in the real world.
-

This virtual museum allows multiple visitors from remote locations to experience and appreciate the museum's art simultaneously. Further, artworks that would be impossible to display in the real world can be viewed in this virtual space. For example, some works of art change in appearance depending on the position of the viewer. This museum could enable us to appreciate works from previously impossible angles.
- * Welcome Numbers
- An exhibit of numbers that collected different meanings throughout the world.
-

Digitizing the environments is the foundation of information science and technology. Owing to this field, enormous amounts of diverse numbers are now flying around our planet. Tiny portions of these numbers have been collected and are shown on various displays mounted on the walls of the Central Plaza. Upper displays enable visitors to feel the constantly changing movement of the "world" in numbers and computer terminals on floor explain the meaning of those numbers simultaneously.
