Miraikan's Science Communicators offer a variety of special demonstrations.

* Geo-Cosmos Demonstration

Using "Geo-Cosmos" (a spherical display of the Earth), our Science Communicators will give easy-to-understand explanations for a variety of data concerning our global environment.
Time: 1. 10:30 - 10:40 2. 11:30 - 11:40 3. 12:30 - 12:40(Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only) 4. 13:30 - 13:40 5. 14:30 - 14:40 6. 15:30 - 15:40 7. 16:30 - 16:40 (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only)

* ASIMO Demonstration

Introducing ASIMO, a Humanoid Robot. Let's imagine a future society in which we live alongside robots.
Time: 1. 11:00 - 11:10 2. 14:00 - 14:10
Venue: 3F "Innovation and the Future"

During December 8 (Thu.) -21(Wed.), 2011, the ASIMO demonstration will be suspended due to maintenance.

* Superconductivity Demonstration

In addition to a levitation demonstration utilizing the phenomenon of superconductivity, our Science Communicators will give you a glimpse of the possibilities of superconductivity.
Time: 1. 13:00 - 13:15 2. 16:00 - 16:15(Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only)

* Nobel Science Show

Our Science Communicators will offer easy-to-understand introductions to the achievements of Nobel-Prize-winning Japanese scientists, using explanatory models and other aides.
Time: 1. 12:45 - 13:00 2. 14:45 - 15:00
Venue: 5F "The Earth Environment and Frontiers"

* Science Mini Talk

Our Science Communicators will introduce the latest scientific topics in an understandable way.
Time: 1. 11:45 - 12:00 2. 15:45 - 16:00 (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only)
Venue: 5F "The Earth Environment and Frontiers" or "Life Science"
