Planetarium Presentation "Tender is the Night"

(C)Rinko Kawauchi
The starry sky as seen from various districts on Earth, the sounds that can be heard within those regions, along with words of poetry that describe the night in these various areas will be presented through the planetarium program which makes visitors aware of their existence on this vast Earth.
The starry sky will be accented with environmental sounds such as the noises of unspoiled nature, people, music, and sounds of wild life as we travel to the diverse areas of Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, North America and Australia from the starry sky of Tokyo. The poetry written by Mr. Shuntaro Tanikawa, the organizer of this program, will link each area. Ms. Kumiko Asou, who is widely known as a film actress, will be mistress of ceremonies for the recitation. In the darkness, the starry sky, sounds and poetry will expand the viewer's imagination.
It is a planetarium presentation, and is comparable to a series of poems that will stay within the hearts of children and adults.
