Mr. Samdech HENG Samrin, President of the National Assembly, Kingdom of Cambodia, came to Japan and, despite his quite tight schedule, he was able to pay a visit to Miraikan and view the exhibits.

During his visit, he enjoyed the exhibits and paid close attention to the explanation provided by science communicators. In particular, he showed notable interest in the exhibits such as Medicine, Life and Space, and the ASIMO and Paro robots of which he asked detailed questions. Also, when the movement of clouds over the last 30 days throughout Southeast Asia including Cambodia was displayed upon the symbol exhibit "Geo-Cosmos," he shared his observation by saying "that is a characteristic movement of clouds during this rainy period."
